Instead, I could try and make it as a jrpg, but adjust the battles so that they are still fast and fresh. The question is, is it worth your time? If not, can you create your dream project another way?Įxample: I have this great concept for a sci-fi game that I'd love to see as an action rpg, with custom designed battles, but I'll probably never get that far along. Short comedy skits hopefully very soon after a little bit of quality control is put into action (fixing those nitty gritty things like pauses between scene execution) The plugin is still in development, so not all planned features have been implemented yet. The plugin is also available for free to my Patrons. I'm sorry for the choppyness of the video. The first step that I'm pursuing in this is to make a machinima maker FIRST, then focus on rpg inventory and battle system afterwards, as I'm most inspired by japanese rpgs in the 90s that were so story like they were like reading books, often having large cutscenes. The main purpose of this tool is to create story-heavy narrative games. I've put as much time in the last 4 months as I could while my hectic life requires quite a lot of dedication elsewhere, working around a part-time job and college work. I don't have much to post yet on this, but I thought I'd make a very short video and put it out there to get a little bit of feedback. ![]()
